Job description

Job description A hospital in the Charleston, WV area needs 2 Radiologists for remote weekend evening coverage, Saturday and Sunday, 4pm-12am each day. Pay is $240/hr for the first 33 wRVUs of an 8-hour shift, plus $36 per additional wRVU beyond that. Typical shift volume runs 60-70 wRVUs, which works out to roughly $3,000+ per shift at expected volume, well above the base-rate floor. Malpractice is included. Modalities: XR, CT, MR, US, NM. Sub-specialty case mix per shift: ED (60), MSK (10), Neuro (30). A radiologist who can read all study types, including CT perfusion and MR abdomen, plus some MSK, is a strong fit.

Job Responsibilities

Provide remote diagnostic radiology coverage across XR, CT, MR, US, and NM modalities. Read a case mix weighted toward ED, with MSK and Neuro studies included. Interpret CT perfusion and MR abdomen studies when they arise.

Qualifications

Board Certified, required. Active West Virginia license required. DEA registration required. Self-Query NPDB report required at time of offer, dated within 30 days.

Working Hours

Saturday and Sunday, 4pm-12am each day, remote.

Skills

Comfortable reading a full range of study types under real volume, 90-100 studies and 60-70 wRVUs per 8-hour shift. CT perfusion, MR abdomen, and MSK proficiency all a plus.
