A growing, physician-owned radiology group on Florida’s Space Coast is seeking 1–2 Nuclear Medicine Radiologists to expand its PET/CT and nuclear medicine services.

The ideal candidate will have dedicated nuclear medicine expertise and the ability to provide additional Diagnostic Radiology coverage. Physicians trained through either a Diagnostic Radiology pathway with Nuclear Medicine fellowship training or a dedicated Nuclear Medicine residency are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Interpret PET/CT examinations and a broad range of nuclear medicine studies
• Provide timely and accurate consultation to referring physicians
• Assist with imaging protocols, study appropriateness, and follow-up recommendations
• Interpret CT, MRI, ultrasound, radiography, or fluoroscopy when aligned with Diagnostic Radiology training
• Perform basic image-guided procedures when appropriately trained and interested
• Participate in quality assurance, peer review, and protocol optimization

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology with Nuclear Medicine fellowship training, or Board Certified or Board Eligible through an accredited Nuclear Medicine residency
• Active Florida medical license or eligibility to obtain one
• Eligible for required hospital credentials and privileges
• Current or obtainable Authorized User status
• Active Authorized User designation on a valid Radioactive Materials License strongly preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, efficiency, and collegiality

Preferred Background

• ABR certification or eligibility in Diagnostic Radiology
• Ability to cover general Diagnostic Radiology shifts
• Experience with oncologic PET/CT or advanced molecular imaging
• Interest in evening, overnight, or additional diagnostic coverage
• Basic image-guided procedural experience

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation is highly competitive and flexible based on the physician’s credentials, Nuclear Medicine experience, schedule, work model, productivity expectations, and ability to provide additional Diagnostic Radiology coverage.
