A Methodist Hospitals – Southlake is seeking an urgent Remote Diagnostic Radiologist with a secondary subspecialty in Body, MSK, or Neuro Radiology to provide overnight coverage for a new remote radiology site.
The physician will provide coverage for Methodist Southlake and Northlake and must be comfortable performing both subspecialty and general diagnostic radiology reads.
This is an overnight remote opportunity, covering 7 days per week from 1:00 AM–8:00 AM CST. Physicians with a primary subspecialty such as IR or Neuro are welcome, but they must be willing and able to cross-read general diagnostic studies in addition to their specialty work.
Job Responsibilities
Cover imaging studies for Methodist Southlake and Northlake.
Interpret general diagnostic imaging studies.
Provide subspecialty interpretation in one or more of the following:
Body Imaging
Musculoskeletal Imaging
Neurology / Neuroimaging
Cross-read general diagnostic studies outside the physician's primary subspecialty.
Support overnight hospital imaging needs.
Maintain efficient turnaround times in a high-volume environment.
Provide coverage during major holidays as scheduled.
Utilize the RPCE technology platform.
Maintain accurate and timely radiology reports.
Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology.
Board Eligible candidates must be within 5 years of eligibility requirements.
Active Indiana medical license – REQUIRED.
Must have a clean professional file.
Candidates must have no malpractice history, including dismissed cases.
No licensing or legal issues.
Must be willing and able to cross-read general diagnostic studies.
Candidates with a secondary specialty in Body, MSK, or Neuro are strongly preferred.
Recent diagnostic radiology experience.
Comfortable with high-volume overnight remote interpretation.
Prior remote/telehealth radiology experience preferred.
Fellowship not required.
Academic Medical Center experience not required.
Prior travel/locum tenens experience preferred.
Important: The hospital may grant temporary privileges once a complete credentialing file is received, subject to hospital approval.
