Assignment Details
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: Ongoing
Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call
Schedule: Weekdays 8:00 AM-4:00 PM with evening beeper call; 24-hour weekend call
Setting: Inpatient
Volume: Approximately 10-15 procedures per day
EMR: Epic
Credentialing: Approximately 60-90 days
Clinical Details
Diagnostic and therapeutic vascular interventions
Angiography, angioplasty, stenting, thrombolysis, and embolization
TIPS, Y90/TACE, vascular access, biopsies, drain placements, nephrostomy, biliary procedures, vertebroplasty, pain procedures, chest tubes, and gastrostomy placement
Neurointerventional stroke thrombectomy required
No diagnostic radiology reading between IR cases
Requirements
Board Certified Interventional Radiology
IR fellowship or residency training
Active ND license or IMLC
ACLS
BLS
Active DEA
