FACILITY INFORMATION
- Trauma Level: Level III
REQUIRED PROCEDURES
- CT and ultrasound guided biopsies (excluding mammo)
- Drain placement; renal, biliary, gastric, gallbladder and abscess (in Cath lab and CT). Biliary stents.
- Thoracentesis and paracentesis
- Dialysis procedures in Cath lab.
- Occasional peripheral and pulmonary venous thrombosis cases.
- Rare embolization procedures; GI and other bleeding.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Other Qualifications: Fellowship trained in IR preferred
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide diagnostic radiology interpretations for inpatient and outpatient cases.
- Perform interventional radiology procedures including CT/US guided biopsies, drain placements, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and dialysis procedures.
- Cover weekdays on-site from 7am to 3pm, with no call or weekend duties.
- Manage occasional peripheral and pulmonary venous thrombosis cases.
- Handle rare embolization procedures such as GI and other bleeding cases.
