Blue Ridge Radiology at UNC Health Blue Ridge is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Diagnostic Radiologist to join our collegial team serving communities across Western North Carolina.
This opportunity combines Breast Imaging and General Diagnostic Radiology with an exceptional practice model featuring 10 weeks of PTO, no overnight reads, hybrid flexibility, and a shared 1:6 backup call rotation.

- No overnight reads
- Dedicated coverage handles reads after 9:00 PM
- Hybrid practice model
- On-site coverage only 2 weeks every 6 weeks
- Backup call only, shared on a 1:6 rotation
- Backup coverage hours:
- Weekdays: 10:00 AM–9:00 PM
- Weekends: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
- Moonlighting opportunities available

And importantly, fellowship training is not required for this opportunity.

What We're Looking For
We're seeking a radiologist who values clinical excellence, collaboration, flexibility, and patient-centered care.
Qualifications include:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology
- Interest or experience in Breast Imaging
- Ability to provide General Diagnostic Radiology coverage
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to high-quality patient care
- Fellowship training is not required
