St. Thomas Radiology Associates, a Radiology Imaging Associates practice, is seeking a Board-Certified Diagnostic Radiologist with expertise in general diagnostic radiology and breast imaging (MQSA certified) to join our well-established, patient-focused practice in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Enjoy a Monday through Friday, full-time, outpatient schedule with no call or weekend responsibilities.

For over 20 years, we have proudly served patients and referring physicians across the Virgin Islands, offering a comprehensive range of diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures with the most advanced imaging technology available. Our state-of-the-art services include digital mammography and recently added laser treatment of varicose veins, performed on an outpatient basis.

Position Highlights

• 3-year Partner-track for STRA or employee position (full-time, on-site)
• Annual Salary: $375,000 + generous SRMC Stipend
• 7 weeks of vacation (35 days)
• No call or weekend shifts
• Optional internal moonlighting available

• MQSA certification required; must be proficient and comfortable with all breast imaging modalities (digital mammography with tomosynthesis, breast ultrasound, MRI) and associated interventional procedures

Practice Description

St. Thomas Radiology Associates is affiliated with Radiology Imaging Associates, a physician-owned, private practice based in Central Florida. With over 200+ radiologists total, we are the optimal size for strength with agility. We have our own internal night-hawk coverage of employed radiologists so you can rest well and offer numerous internal moonlighting opportunities so you can earn extra income if you choose. We own 30+ imaging centers, generating real-estate appreciation and technical fees - distinguishing us from hospital-based, professional-fee only practices. Our diverse income streams, minimal debt load, and non-hierarchical, non-tiered partnership structure ensure our autonomy. Partners in executive roles across the age-distribution ensure our longevity. Our group is one of the few remaining true private practices. We intend to capitalize on the dissatisfaction with corporatized/private equity radiology. Unsurprisingly, we do not have a high turnover of pre-partners. We strongly value workplace culture and do not support hierarchies, unequal work distribution/productivity, or cherry-picking. Vested cash balance plans and 401k profit sharing plans are provided. We currently use Fuji Synapse PACS, Agfa PACS, Powerscribe 360, and Clario smartlist manager that allows for chat messaging and case collaboration. We use RadAI to automatically generate report impressions. We have our own 24/7 in-house IT and clinical support staff utilizing physician extenders to minimize phone calls and non-clinical tasks.

Candidate Qualifications:

• M.D. or D.O. with residency training in Diagnostic Radiology
• Board-certified or board-eligible by the American Board of Radiology or American Osteopathic Board of Radiology
• Completion of a one-year post-residency fellowship (preferred, but not required)
• MQSA certification (required)
• Eligible for or currently hold a U.S. Virgin Islands medical license
