Position Overview

We are seeking a Full-Time Diagnostic Radiologist to provide high-quality hospital-based diagnostic imaging services across three Southwest Riverside County locations.

This position is primarily onsite and follows a structured coverage model with integrated remote reading opportunities as part of the overall coverage plan. The ideal candidate is comfortable with a broad range of general diagnostic studies and values consistency, collaboration, clinical quality, and sustainable coverage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret a broad range of general diagnostic imaging studies, including X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine
  • Provide timely, accurate, and clinically appropriate final interpretations for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department imaging
  • Collaborate with on-site clinicians, referring physicians, and hospital teams to support patient care
  • Communicate critical findings and provide appropriate clinical recommendations when necessary
  • Utilize Cerner EMR and integrated imaging/PACS and voice-recognition systems for efficient clinical workflow
  • Maintain compliance with quality, safety, regulatory, and documentation requirements
  • Participate in peer review, quality improvement initiatives, and departmental meetings

Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree
  • Board Certified / Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology
  • Active California medical license or eligibility for California licensure
  • Strong clinical judgment and proficiency in general diagnostic radiology
  • Excellent communication, professionalism, and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently in a high-volume hospital-based environment

Compensation

  • Compensation is aligned with coverage commitment, employment classification, and annual workload expectations under an approved block scheduling model
  • Full-Time Coverage: 40 Weeks / 220 Shifts per Year
  • Final compensation is determined by approved coverage level, RVU productivity expectations, and employment classification
  • Additional remote diagnostic reading opportunities may be available with separate RVU-based compensation in addition to base shift compensation
