Job description
Nonprofit health system in Northeast Michigan is seeking a BE/BC General Radiologist with interest in breast imaging to join a growing, collaborative practice.
Position Details:
- Full-time, employed position
- 135+ bed medical center providing Level III trauma care
- 100% physician owned and managed practice
- Position may include occasional travel to other sites of operation
- Two employment models available:
- Standard track: 13 weeks of vacation annually
- Weekday daytime track: 8 weeks of vacation; schedule limited to weekday daytime hours (no evenings, weekends, or holidays)
- Fellowship training preferred but will consider significant practice experience
- Must be comfortable working autonomously in more rural sites
Responsibilities:
- Interpret studies from all modalities, including mammography
- Perform minor percutaneous interventions such as drainages and biopsies
- Perform image-guided breast procedures, including stereotactic and ultrasound-guided biopsies and localizations
- Breast diagnostic interpretation a plus but not required
Compensation/Benefits include:
- $100k sign-on bonus
- Competitive compensation plan
- Stipends for on-site shifts
- Opportunities for additional shifts on a month-to-month basis
- Physicians pay $0 for single or family medical/dental/vision coverage and enjoy an $18k medical reimbursement account annually
- 401(k) plan with employer contributions up to the annual IRS limit
- 13 weeks of vacation for standard track roles
- 6 weeks of paid parental leave (new benefit)
