Job description
This role is primarily procedural focused and involves performing fluoroscopy procedures along with arthrograms and lumbar punctures. The provider will manage approximately 7 to 10 patient cases per day and will only interpret studies related to the procedures they perform. There are no additional diagnostic reading responsibilities outside of the procedures completed during the shift.
The department is seeking a physician who is comfortable with procedural radiology and fluoroscopy based imaging in a hospital setting. Experience with additional interventional procedures is welcomed but not required.
Job Responsibilities
• Conduct arthrograms and lumbar punctures
• Interpret imaging studies associated with procedures performed
• Collaborate with hospital staff to support procedural radiology services
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for procedural imaging
Qualifications
• Active Kentucky license or ability to obtain
• Experience performing fluoroscopy procedures required
• Comfortable performing arthrograms and lumbar punctures
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Clean malpractice history preferred
Working Hours
Some overtime opportunities may be available
No night call
Onsite coverage only
Coverage is needed as much as possible on an ongoing basis, with long term coverage expected.
