Job description
A healthcare system is seeking a Diagnostic Radiologist to provide remote evening coverage supporting multiple hospital imaging sites. This opportunity offers a consistent schedule across evenings and weekends with a broad diagnostic case mix and steady imaging volume.
The radiologist will interpret a wide range of diagnostic imaging studies generated from emergency department, inpatient, and outpatient workflows. The case mix includes CT, radiography, ultrasound, MRI, and nuclear medicine studies with a strong emphasis on urgent and routine hospital imaging. Physicians comfortable working in a high volume remote environment with a broad general diagnostic skillset are encouraged to inquire.
Job Responsibilities
Qualifications
• Experience interpreting a broad range of diagnostic imaging modalities
• Comfortable reading urgent and routine imaging studies in a high volume environment
• Active state medical license or ability to obtain
• Ability to work efficiently in a remote diagnostic reading environment
• Physicians only
Working Hours
Weekday shifts available:
• 2:00 PM – 11:30 PM CST, or
• 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM CST
Weekend shifts:
• 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM CST
Holiday coverage will follow the seven day rotation schedule.
Skills
• CT (approximately 44 percent)
• MRI (approximately 5 percent)
• Nuclear Medicine / PET (approximately 3 percent)
• Ultrasound (approximately 8 percent)
• Radiography / X Ray (approximately 40 percent)
Case types include inpatient routine imaging, outpatient studies, urgent exams, and STAT imaging.
