Job description
A healthcare system is seeking a Diagnostic Radiologist to provide long term remote overnight coverage supporting hospital imaging services across multiple sites. This opportunity offers a consistent overnight schedule focused on emergency department and inpatient imaging studies with a broad general diagnostic case mix.
The radiologist will interpret a wide range of diagnostic imaging studies generated from inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department workflows. The role includes urgent and STAT imaging studies including stroke related exams. Physicians comfortable working in a high volume remote reading environment are encouraged to inquire.
Job Responsibilities
Qualifications
• Experience interpreting general diagnostic imaging across multiple modalities
• Comfortable reading urgent and STAT imaging including stroke related studies
• Active state medical license or ability to obtain
• Ability to work efficiently in a remote diagnostic reading environment
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Working Hours
The facility is staffing multiple shifts across the radiology service, including:
• Day coverage – 2 radiologists
• Evening coverage – 1 radiologist
• Overnight coverage – 1 radiologist

Skills
• CT (approximately 40 percent)
• MRI (approximately 6 percent)
• Nuclear Medicine (approximately 1 percent)
• Ultrasound (approximately 8 percent)
• Radiography / X Ray (approximately 45 percent)
Case types include routine inpatient imaging, outpatient studies, STAT exams, and stroke related imaging.
