A healthcare system is seeking a Board Certified Diagnostic Radiologist with Nuclear Medicine experience to provide onsite evening coverage supporting several high volume imaging locations. This opportunity offers a consistent weekday evening schedule with a diverse diagnostic case mix across multiple hospital environments.

The radiologist will support emergency department and inpatient imaging workflows across several facilities, including trauma centers and high acuity diagnostic sites. The case mix includes a broad range of diagnostic imaging studies with particular emphasis on CT, radiography, and stroke related imaging. Nuclear medicine and PET imaging experience is preferred as some locations support oncology and advanced imaging services. Physicians comfortable working in a fast paced evening diagnostic environment are encouraged to inquire.

Job Responsibilities

The radiologist will provide onsite diagnostic imaging interpretation across multiple hospital locations during evening coverage hours. Responsibilities include interpreting CT, ultrasound, MRI, and radiography studies related to emergency department and inpatient imaging demand. The physician will read stroke related imaging including CT head and CTA studies when applicable and support nuclear medicine and PET imaging interpretation when required. The radiologist will collaborate with clinical teams to deliver accurate and timely imaging interpretations while supporting high volume diagnostic workflows across several facilities.

Qualifications

• Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology
• Nuclear Medicine experience preferred, including PET imaging interpretation
• Experience interpreting stroke and trauma related imaging studies
• Broad diagnostic skillset across CT, ultrasound, radiography, MRI, CR, and nuclear medicine
• Active state medical license or ability to obtain
• Temporary privileges available for physicians with a clean credentialing history

Working Hours

Onsite evening coverage Monday through Friday with shifts available from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM EST and 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM EST. Physicians able to assist with major and minor holiday coverage when scheduled are preferred.
