A healthcare system is seeking General Diagnostic Radiologists to provide remote coverage supporting a multi site hospital imaging network. This opportunity offers flexible scheduling with block options and a diagnostic workflow focused on urgent and emergency imaging studies.

Radiologists will primarily interpret STAT and urgent emergency department and inpatient imaging studies, including trauma and stroke related exams. The position is fully remote and designed for physicians comfortable working in a high acuity environment where efficient turnaround times are essential. Job Responsibilities

The radiologist will provide remote diagnostic imaging interpretation for emergency department and inpatient imaging studies across multiple hospital locations. Responsibilities include interpreting urgent and STAT imaging studies related to trauma, stroke evaluation, and acute inpatient care. The physician will read from a general diagnostic worklist while maintaining efficient turnaround times and collaborating with clinical teams to support patient care. The role focuses on diagnostic imaging interpretation in a high acuity setting.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology within five years of training
• Experience interpreting emergency department and inpatient diagnostic imaging studies
• Comfortable reading urgent and STAT imaging including trauma and stroke related exams
• Active state medical license or ability to obtain
• Ability to work efficiently in a remote diagnostic reading environment
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications

Working Hours

Preferred scheduling includes 7 days on / 7 days off or 14 days on / 14 days off, though physicians able to cover at least 14 shifts per month will also be considered. Additional shorter shifts from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM CST are also available.

Physicians should be available to assist with holiday coverage if scheduled.
