A healthcare system is seeking General Diagnostic Radiologists to provide long term onsite evening coverage supporting hospital based imaging services. This opportunity offers a consistent evening schedule with a seven on, seven off rotation and exposure to a broad diagnostic case mix across multiple imaging modalities.

The radiologist will support emergency department and inpatient imaging workflows during evening hours, interpreting studies across a wide range of modalities. The position focuses entirely on diagnostic interpretation with no procedural responsibilities, making it an ideal opportunity for physicians who prefer a reading focused environment. Job Responsibilities

The radiologist will provide onsite diagnostic imaging interpretation across multiple modalities supporting emergency department and inpatient imaging needs during evening hours. Responsibilities include interpreting a broad mix of diagnostic studies including CT, radiography, ultrasound, and MRI while maintaining efficient workflow and timely report turnaround. The physician will read from a general diagnostic worklist and collaborate with clinical teams to ensure accurate and timely imaging interpretation. This role is focused exclusively on diagnostic imaging interpretation and does not include procedural responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology within five years of training
• Experience interpreting a broad range of diagnostic imaging studies in a hospital environment
• Comfortable working evening shifts supporting emergency department imaging demand
• Active state medical license or ability to obtain
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications

Working Hours

Onsite coverage Sunday through Saturday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM ET. The program operates on a seven days on, seven days off rotation, and the facility anticipates needing a minimum of two radiologists to support the schedule.
