A healthcare system is seeking a General Diagnostic Radiologist to provide ongoing onsite coverage across multiple hospital imaging sites. This opportunity offers a consistent weekday schedule and the ability to work within a collaborative radiology team supporting a broad range of diagnostic imaging services.
The radiologist will primarily interpret general diagnostic studies while supporting hospital imaging departments across several locations within the region. Physicians with subspecialty training are welcome, and worklists may be adjusted to align with subspecialty expertise when possible. The role also includes performing fluoroscopy procedures as needed.
This position is ideal for physicians looking for ongoing coverage with predictable daytime hours and a diverse diagnostic case mix.
Job Responsibilities
Qualifications
• Active state medical license or ability to obtain
• Comfortable interpreting a broad range of general diagnostic imaging studies
• Ability to perform fluoroscopy exams
• Willingness to travel between imaging sites as needed
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Working Hours
Monday through Friday
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST
8 hour shifts
Physicians must be able to commit to more than six weeks of coverage per year and be flexible to work at the imaging site where coverage is needed most.
