This facility operates as a regional trauma center serving the Central Florida community with comprehensive imaging services. The hospital features advanced technology and supports a broader interventional radiology service compared to other Orlando area community facilities, providing excellent opportunities for professional growth and diverse case experience.
Opportunity:
Diagnostic Radiologist - Radiology
Job Details:
• Provide ongoing onsite broad general radiology services Monday-Friday 8a-5p EST
• Schedule commitment of 1-2 weeks per month with major/minor holiday coverage available
• Handle high-acuity imaging mix dominated by CT trauma imaging and emergency department radiography
• Interpret CT stroke protocols, CT angiography studies, and trauma spine imaging frequently
• Perform trauma center work with high CT utilization including trauma pan-scans and CT angiography
• Conduct frequent stroke pathway imaging including CT Head Stroke + CTA Head/Neck + CT Perfusion
• Manage significant MSK trauma workload with high extremity radiograph volume
• Provide regular vascular and abdominal ultrasound services including DVT, RUQ/gallbladder, renal, and pelvic/OB studies
• Utilize multiple modalities: CR, CT, US, MR, FL, NM, and MAMMO
• Primary focus (75%): X-ray & CT for Trauma/Stroke/PE cases
• High-support services (20%): Ultrasound focused on DVT, Gallbladder, and OB/Transvaginal
• Specialized services (5%): MRI including Neuro/MSK/MRCP
• Low-volume services (<5%): Mammo, Fluoro, Nuclear Medicine, and Basic IR procedures
• Meet productivity expectation of 80 RVUs minimum per shift
• Work with RPCE Tech stack, PowerScribe 4.0, RP Reading Platform, Mosaic/Clario systems
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
