Diagnostic Radiologist (Locum Tenens)

Location: Philadelphia
Setting: Onsite hospital and imaging center

Seeking a Diagnostic Radiologist for onsite coverage providing a broad general diagnostic case mix in a hospital-based setting.

Schedule

  • Monday – Friday

  • 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

  • 8-hour shifts

Clinical Responsibilities

Modalities:

  • X-ray (XR)

  • CT

  • MRI

  • Ultrasound (US)

  • Fluoroscopy

Light Interventional Radiology Procedures:

Biopsies:

  • Thyroid

  • Lung

  • Bone

  • Liver

  • Renal

  • CT-guided

  • Ultrasound-guided

Drainages:

  • Paracentesis

  • Thoracentesis

  • Abscess drainage

  • Chest tube placement

  • Cyst drainage

Lumbar Punctures:

  • Diagnostic LP

  • Myelogram

  • Epidural

Arthrograms:

  • Knee

  • Hip

  • Shoulder

  • Elbow

  • Ankle

Volume Expectations (Per 8-Hour Shift)

  • 90–100 studies daily

  • 60–70 wRVUs

Requirements

  • Board Certified – Required

  • Active Pennsylvania License – Required

  • DEA Registration – Required

  • Self-Query NPDB report (dated within 30 days at time of presentation) – Required
