Exciting Locum-to-Perm General Radiology opportunity in Springfield, Massachusetts beginning February 2026. This position offers a consistent weekday schedule with no call and no weekends, providing excellent work-life balance.
Practice in a collaborative environment with a strong radiology team and full support staff. Coverage includes hospital and outpatient imaging locations with a diverse patient population ranging from adolescent to geriatric.
Ideal for Radiologists with prior experience or strong interest in Nuclear Radiology (including thyroid imaging) looking for a long-term opportunity in a well-established healthcare system.
Job Responsibilities
• Perform and interpret Nuclear Radiology studies (thyroid focus preferred)
• Provide coverage for hospital and outpatient imaging services
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical teams
• Utilize Epic, PowerScribe, and PACS for documentation and reporting
• Maintain high-quality imaging interpretation standards
Qualifications
• Active Massachusetts medical license or pending application (Required)
• ACLS and BLS certifications (Required)
• Demonstrated experience or interest in Nuclear Radiology (Required)
• Recent NPDB self-query report (Required)
• Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
Working Hours
• 5x8 Day Shifts
• 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
• No call
• No weekends
