This is a well-established medical center providing comprehensive healthcare services to the Bismarck community and surrounding areas. The facility features state-of-the-art equipment and technology for interventional radiology procedures with a supportive team environment and Epic EMR system.

Physician - Radiology - Interventional
Job Details:
• Locum tenens coverage with ongoing dates available starting in March 2026 (possibly February) • 8-hour shifts (typically 8a-4p) with evening call 4p-8a and 24-hour call on weekends • Perform 10-15 procedures during typical on-site day shifts • Required to have general IR experience and proficiency with numerous procedures including: • Diagnostic vascular intervention (angiography - venous and arterial) • Therapeutic vascular intervention (angioplasty, stenting, thrombolytic therapy, embolization) • Vascular access devices/PICCs, central lines, and port-a-cath insertions • IVC filters and TIPS • Percutaneous needle biopsies (above/below diaphragm and bone) • Aspiration/drainage procedures and abscess drainage • Pain management procedures, blood patch, and joint/epidural injections • Vertebroplasty and arthrograms • Uterine artery embolization and liver Y90/TACE • Gastrostomy tube insertion and nephrostomy/ureteral stent insertion • Cryoablation and additional IR procedures as needed • Stroke thrombectomy capabilities preferred but not required • Must have Board Certification in Radiology • Active ND license or IMLC required • ACLS and BLS certification required • Completed residency/fellowship required • Clean malpractice history preferred • Credentialing timeframe: 60-90 days • Must complete procedure verification list as part of submission process
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
