This prestigious children's hospital is a leading pediatric healthcare facility with specialized services for children throughout Michigan. As a Level 1 pediatric facility, it provides comprehensive care with advanced diagnostic capabilities and serves as an important teaching and research institution.
Opportunity:
Physician (MD) - Diagnostic Radiology/Nuclear Medicine - Pediatric Radiology
Job Details:
• Pediatric Radiology fellowship trained and CAQ certified or eligible required
• ONSITE coverage at Children's Hospital
• Coverage needed for 1 week per month, ideally Monday-Sunday (will accept Thursday-Sunday)
• Weekday shift expectations: Monday-Friday 4pm-12am onsite coverage with call 12am-8am
• Weekend shift expectations: Saturday/Sunday 12pm-8pm with call 8pm-8am
• Responsible for reading all X-ray, ultrasound, and stat CT and MRI cases
• Approximately 60 patient encounters per shift
• Must come in for fluoroscopy procedures
• Clean malpractice history required (case logs must be submitted with application)
• Board certification required
• BLS certification required
• Must be licensed in MI or have IMLC
• Estimated credentialing timeframe: 90 days
• Start date: ASAP with ongoing assignment
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
