Job Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Interpret and analyze complex medical images to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of illnesses and injuries.
Provide diagnostic services including, but not limited to, interpretation of mammography (screening & diagnostic), PET, plain films, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, CT, and MRI.
Perform and/or interpret studies utilizing PACS and voice recognition systems.
Meet productivity benchmarks and be responsible for the interpretation of studies and report generation for all credentialed studies.
Ensure all studies and clinical notes are dictated and signed in a timely manner.
Communicate directly with ordering providers on all critical findings.
Participate in peer review activities as well as attend clinical conferences as assigned by the Service Chief or designee.
Fulfill equitable night call and weekend back-up duties as needed.
Teach, supervise, and evaluate radiology residents and medical students from affiliated medical schools.
