This facility is a well-established medical center that serves as a leading healthcare provider in the region. The hospital features state-of-the-art technology including EPIC/PowerScribe/PACS systems, a full complement of support staff, and a busy radiology department serving diverse patient demographics from neonates to geriatrics.
Opportunity:
Board Certified - Radiology - Mammography
Job Details:
• 3-6 month assignment with potential extension as needs require, starting March 21, 2026 • Monday-Friday schedule, 7:30-5:00, with no call and no weekends • Perform mammography reads, diagnostics, and biopsies • Hospital-based position with some remote work capability • Very busy department with high volume • Must be proficient with PACS, Power Scribe, and current radiology IT platforms • Skills required: ultrasound and stereotactic guided biopsies, aspirations, localizations • Board certification or Board eligibility in Diagnostic Radiology by ABR or AOBR required • Fellowship training in Breast Imaging highly preferred • Valid Connecticut medical license required (or eligibility) • DEA registration and state-controlled substance certification required • Current BLS certification required • Experience in high-volume clinical environments with integrated health systems preferred • Must demonstrate ability to collaborate effectively with referring clinicians and multi-disciplinary teams • Prior experience with hybrid onsite/remote workflow models beneficial • Strong commitment to quality, safety, and patient-centered care • Credentialing timeframe approximately 90-120 days
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
