Facility:
This facility is a well-established medical center providing comprehensive healthcare services to the community. The hospital features a Level I trauma designation with a very busy radiology department that utilizes advanced technology including EPIC, PowerScribe, and PACS systems with full complement support staff.

Opportunity:
Physician - Radiology - Diagnostic

Job Details:
• 3-6 month assignment with potential to extend as needs require, starting March 21, 2026 • 24/7 reading coverage with no traditional call - must have ability to read CT, US, MRI, and diagnose round the clock • Two providers per shift with morning, afternoon, night and overnight shifts available • Hybrid work model with both hospital-based and some remote work capabilities • High-volume clinical environment within an integrated health system • Patient demographic includes neonates, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics (rarely pediatrics) • Must be Board certified or Board eligible in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) or American Osteopathic Board of Radiology (AOBR) • Fellowship training in a radiology subspecialty (Neuroimaging, Cardiac Imaging, etc.) highly preferred • Proficiency with PACS, Power scribe, and current radiology IT platforms required • Experience with US and Stereotactic guided biopsies, aspirations, localizations, etc. • Valid Connecticut medical license required (or eligibility to obtain) • Must have or be eligible to obtain DEA registration and state-controlled substance certification • Current BLS certification required (ACLS optional depending on subspecialty) • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with referring clinicians and multi-disciplinary teams • Strong commitment to quality, safety, and patient-centered care • Credentialing timeframe is approximately 90-120 days

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
