This facility is a well-established medical center offering comprehensive healthcare services to the community. The hospital features a Level 1 trauma designation and utilizes advanced technology systems including EPIC, PowerScribe, and PACS for streamlined patient care. The radiology department is described as very busy with a full complement of support staff.
Opportunity:
Physician - Radiology - Interventional
Job Details:
• 3-6 month assignment with potential to extend as needed, starting March 21, 2026 • Monday-Friday schedule from 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM with 24-hour call coverage, nights and weekends onsite • Practice setting includes both hospital and some remote work • Very busy department with caseload varying by subspecialty • Serves diverse patient populations including neonates, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics • Board certification or Board eligibility in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) or American Osteopathic Board of Radiology (AOBR) required • Fellowship training in Interventional Radiology highly preferred • Must be proficient with PACS, Power scribe, and current radiology IT platforms • Experience with US and Stereotactic guided biopsies, aspirations, localizations, etc. • Valid Connecticut medical license required (or eligibility) • DEA registration and state-controlled substance certification required • Current BLS certification required (ACLS optional depending on subspecialty) • Experience in high-volume clinical environments with an integrated health system • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with referring clinicians and multi-disciplinary teams • Prior experience with hybrid onsite/remote workflow models preferred • Strong commitment to quality, safety, and patient-centered care • Credentialing timeframe approximately 90-120 days with completion of applications
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
