This medical center is a well-established healthcare provider offering comprehensive services to the Springfield community. The facility utilizes modern technology with Epic/PowerScribe/PACS systems and provides both hospital and outpatient radiology services with full complement support staff.
Opportunity:
Physician - Radiology
Job Details:
• Locum to Perm General Radiologist position starting February 2026
• Work in both hospital and outpatient locations
• Variable caseload with 120 patients per day in ER volume
• Join a team of 6 radiologists (8 currently with 2 leaving)
• Serve diverse patient population including adolescent, child, adult, and geriatric patients
• Must have prior experience or demonstrated interest in Nuclear Radiology (thyroid mentioned)
• Board Certified or Board Eligible required
• Active MA license or pending MA application with submission date and estimated approval required
• ACLS, BLS certifications required
• No on-call or weekend responsibilities
• Credentialing timeframe of 90-120 days with completion on apps
• Self-Query NPDB report required at time of presentation (must be pulled within same month as submission)
• $25k conversion fee required for permanent placement
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
