This medical center is a Level 1 trauma facility offering comprehensive services to the surrounding community. The facility provides advanced interventional radiology capabilities with state-of-the-art equipment and a collaborative team environment for specialized procedures.
Opportunity:
Physician (MD) - Diagnostic Radiology/Nuclear Medicine - Vascular and Interventional Radiology
Job Details:
• Coverage for daily IR cases and call responsibilities • Perform various embolization procedures • Conduct pulmonary thrombectomy procedures • Perform various drainages including abscess, nephrostomy, and biliary • Place IVC filters • Manage central venous access (dialysis catheters, central lines, PICCs) • Perform TIPS procedures • Conduct lumbar punctures • Perform thoracentesis and paracentesis • Regular hours from 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM Eastern, Monday through Friday • On-call hours from 4:30 PM - 7:00 AM Eastern, Monday through Thursday • Board certification eligible with Pennsylvania license or IMLC required • ACLS and BLS certifications required • Hospital arranges accommodations • Nearest airports: Latrobe or Pittsburgh • Estimated credentialing timeframe: 5 days
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
