Locum IR Radiologist needed in Missouri!
- Coverage Type: M-F coverage 0700-1700 with evening and weekend call. The daytime hours would be on-site at one location, while call coverage (low volume) would be at a nearby location.
- Length of Assignment: Ongoing
- Practice Setting: Hospital. There are dedicated IR suites, and are they up-to-date with current technology. Not high-volume trauma level.
- What is the modality breakdown for the Diagnostic Radiology need? CT, MR, PET, US
- Patient population/age: Adults
- EMR: EPIC. The PACS system is Change/McKesson
Job Responsibilities
Not required to supervise other healthcare providers
Special Procedures Include:
Angiography (Needle/Catheter)
Percutaneous Catheter Placement
Transluminal Peripheral Vascular Interventions
Biopsies (Percutaneous, Transjugular Liver, CT/US-guided, Marrow)
Myelography
Arthrography
Fallopian Tuboplasty
TIPS (Transjugular Intrahepatic Portocaval Shunt)
Neurointervention (Cerebrovascular)
Vertebroplasty & Kyphoplasty
Carotid Stenting
Image-guided Paracentesis, Thoracentesis, Drain & Chest Tube Placement
Image-guided Central Venous Catheter Placement
Joint Injections/Arthrograms (CT/US/Fluoro)
Aspirations (Joint/Collections)
Lumbar Puncture (image-guided)
Qualifications
Licensure: Willing to license (MO and KS preferred; IMLC accepted)
