## Diagnostic Radiologist | Mountain Home, AR North-Central Arkansas — Ozark Mountains Base Salary: $500,000 + Productivity Incentive ## Position Details * Full-time, permanent W2 employed position * Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00a–5:00p or 9:00a–6:00p — no call, no weekends, no holidays * Autonomy: On-site reading for acute care hospital, critical access hospital, imaging center, and several clinics — no overnight or weekend obligations * Setting: On-site diagnostic radiology — 40 imaging locations across 12 counties * Not-for-profit 501(c)(3) * J-1 and H-1B visa candidates accepted ## Practice Overview Seeking a BC/BE Diagnostic Radiologist to join a well-established, independent not-for-profit health system serving a 2-state, 12-county region: * Read for acute care hospital, critical access hospital, imaging center, and several clinics * Modalities: CT, MRI, ultrasound, and X-ray * Mammography and PET — preferred * 2025 volume: 120,000 images read annually * 268-bed short-term acute care facility serving approximately 233,000 people across North Central Arkansas and South Central Missouri * Active medical staff of approximately 150 physicians across 34 medical and surgical specialties * Magnet Recognized since 2021 * Serving the region since 1963 ## Compensation & Benefits * Base salary: $500,000 plus productivity incentive * Commencement bonus: Up to $40,000 * Relocation expense reimbursement: Up to $10,000 * Malpractice expense covered * Comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, life, and retirement * J-1 and H-1B visa candidates accepted ## Required Qualifications * MD or DO — Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology * Mammography and PET experience — preferred * Arkansas medical license or willingness to obtain * J-1 and H-1B visa candidates accepted ## About the Community – Mountain Home, Arkansas * Charming city ranked #38 on Southern Living's 50 Best Small Towns in the South * Located in the beautiful Ozark Mountains in north-central Arkansas * Two pristine lakes, three rivers, and four beautiful seasons — an outdoor enthusiast's haven * Hiking and biking trails throughout the region — 2 golf courses * Home of Arkansas State University: Mountain Home * Low crime rates, low cost of living, and excellent school systems * Serving the area since 1963 — strong sense of community pride and local identity
