PATIENT INFORMATION
- Average Daily Volume: 5 to 8 patients per day
- Case Mix: 80% IR / 20% DX
FACILITY INFORMATION
- EMR System: Epic
- Specialty Backup Available: Other IR/DX physicians
REQUIRED PROCEDURES
- Biopsy
- Drainage
- Tube placement
- Line placement
- Nephrostomies
- Biliary drainages
- Arterial angiograms (if possible)
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Board: Board Certified
- Licenses: Active New York medical license
- Certifications: ACLS required
- Other Qualifications: EPIC training required; Experience with Phillips angio suites preferred
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide interventional radiology coverage on-site, including biopsies, drainages, tube placements, line placements, nephrostomies, biliary drainages, and arterial angiograms.
- Perform diagnostic radiology interpretation as needed (20% DX component).
- Utilize imaging modalities including X-ray, CT, and Ultrasound.
- Work collaboratively with other IR/DX physicians and support staff.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Epic EMR system.
