A New Mexico hospital is adding a board certified diagnostic radiologist to its remote reading team, starting in December 2026 on a six-month contract with ongoing coverage after that. Pay is $365.75/hr with no call. Day and evening coverage are the highest priority, overnight and weekend shifts are also open, and the client will build around your availability. The preferred pattern is about 30 hours a week, Monday to Friday, plus two weekends a month, and weekend-only providers will be considered. The study mix is roughly 50% plain films, 35% CT and MR, and 15% nuclear medicine, mammography, and other modalities. You read on EXA PACS, and the client prefers that you have your own workstation. Credentialing takes about four to six weeks.
