- Seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Diagnostic Radiologist to join our hospital-based radiology group in an on-site, hybrid, or remote role
- This position is primarily focused on diagnostic radiology with an additional component of neuroradiology
- Practice Highlights
- Hybrid/remote (teleradiology) opportunity
- No nights and no weekends
- Monday-Friday daytime schedule (7:30 AM - 4:30 PM). Schedule is flexible, they would be open to night coverage as well if identified.
- Neuroradiology subspecialty integrated into a general diagnostic practice
- Case mix includes CT, MRI, Ultrasound, X-ray
- Advanced imaging technology and integrated PACS/RIS platform

- Coverage: Ongoing
- Credentialing: Approximately 60-90 days
- Position Details:
- Mammography coverage is a strong preference
- Current mammography experience strongly preferred
- Strong preference for a provider interested in a long-term commitment
- Group Workload & Capacity
- Overall Department Volume: The Diagnostics Day shift processes roughly 1,012 cases per day across the entire team.
- Individual Reading Expectation: For a standard remote diagnostic or teleradiology role, radiologists typically average between 8 to 9 RVUs (Relative Value Units) per hour. This equates to approximately 85 RVUs per day, or a workload of 100–150 studies per day depending heavily on the case mix. Sweet spot will be right around 65 RVUs a day.
- Modality Mix because this specific role has a focus on neuroradiology, the volume is split between complex and high-turnaround studies:
- High Volume: Routine X-rays, ultrasounds, and body CT scans.
- Low Volume / High Complexity: Multi-sequence MRIs and specialized neuro-imaging.
- Key Responsibilities
- Interpret neuroradiology studies (brain, spine, head/neck imaging)
- Perform general diagnostic radiology reads across modalities
- Deliver accurate, timely reports in a hybrid or remote environment
