Teleradiologist Locums Position-Flexible Scheduling

Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Nighthawk Teleradiologist to provide dedicated overnight teleradiology coverage. The physician will handle urgent and emergent diagnostic imaging for emergency rooms and inpatient facilities across a hospital network. Other Teleradiologist Opportunities with daytime hours also available.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret stat/emergent diagnostic imaging across all major modalities, primarily focused on cross-sectional imaging including CT scans, ultrasound, and plain film.
• Handle queue management by prioritizing high-acuity ER/inpatient cases and assist with backlogged outpatient diagnostics during low-volume periods.
• Maintain a volume and productivity standard of 10 to 12 RVUs per hour, scaling up to 15 during peak periods.
• Work overnight shifts spanning from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM with flexible scheduling options such as 7-on/7-off or 7-on/14-off block schedules.
• Utilize modern technology such as Merge PACS (v9.2) and Rad AI Reporting for structured dictation and impression generation.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology (MD or DO).
• Proficiency with modern PACS and AI-assisted speech recognition/dictation platforms.
• Active state medical licenses in multiple states or eligibility for expedited licensure via the IMLC.
• Proven experience in high-volume teleradiology or emergency radiology with two-year verified case logs.

Skills

• Technical proficiency with Merge PACS and AI-assisted tools like Rad AI Reporting.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.
