Position Type: Full-Time, Part-Time, Per Diem, or Locum Tenens

Position Overview

We are seeking Diagnostic Radiologists to provide remote teleradiology coverage for our Inland Valley hospital partners during evening and overnight hours. This is a fully remote diagnostic radiology position with consistent general diagnostic caseloads and flexible opportunities for physicians seeking full-time, part-time, per diem, or locum tenens work.

Available shifts include 5:00 PM–11:00 PM PST, 6:00 PM–12:00 AM PST, and 12:00 AM–8:00 AM PST. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong general diagnostic skills, sound clinical judgment, diagnostic accuracy, and the ability to work efficiently and independently during off-hours while collaborating with onsite clinical teams when needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret a broad range of general diagnostic imaging studies, including CT, X-ray, ultrasound, and MRI
  • Deliver timely, accurate, and clinically appropriate final reads during evening and overnight coverage
  • Collaborate remotely with onsite clinicians, referring physicians, and hospital teams to support patient care
  • Communicate critical findings appropriately and in accordance with established clinical workflows
  • Utilize integrated PACS, EMR, and voice-recognition systems for efficient remote workflow
  • Maintain compliance with quality, patient safety, regulatory, and documentation requirements
  • Participate in remote QA, peer review, and quality improvement initiatives as required

Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree
  • Board Certified / Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology
  • Active California medical license or eligibility for California licensure
  • Strong proficiency in general diagnostic radiology and interpretation of a broad range of diagnostic studies
  • Excellent communication, professionalism, and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently in a fully remote, high-volume environment

Schedule

  • Evening coverage: 5:00 PM–11:00 PM PST
  • Evening coverage: 6:00 PM–12:00 AM PST
  • Overnight coverage: 12:00 AM–8:00 AM PST

Compensation

  • RVU-based compensation aligned with shift type and coverage commitment
  • Compensation is based on coverage, commitment, experience, employment classification, and applicable productivity expectations
