Opportunity Highlights

  • Remote Work: This is a 100% remote teleradiology. Facility will provide a workstation that will be shipped to your home.

  • Consistent Schedule: We are looking for 1-2 providers who can consistently provide up to 14 weeks per year of services to help fill the schedule around vacation and holiday periods. The need is expected to last 1-2 years or more.

  • Flexible Reading Options: You can choose from two rotations, which you must specify in your presentation:

    • Rotation 1 (8 AM - 4 PM): Read 30-35 CT exams (outpatient/inpatient only, no ER), 15 MRI outpatient exams, and 30-35 general X-rays.

    • Rotation 2 (7 AM - 4 PM): Focus on only CT reads, with a volume of 50-55 exams (a combination of outpatient, inpatient, and ER).

  • Diverse Case Mix: You'll be reading a variety of CT, General Radiology (X-Ray/Plain Films), MRI, and Ultrasound exams. The cases are from a community hospital and include low-level trauma. Approximately 5 oncology studies are included in the overall volume.

  • EMR/PACS Systems: You will receive training on the Philips Enterprise 4.7 PACS and Workflow Orchestrator for your worklist, and Fluency for the dictation system.

  • Supportive Environment: You will work solo but have access to a Radiology Informatics team for IT support, clerical staff to assist with critical results, and the ability to consult with three other radiologists during your shifts.

  • Quick Privileging: The estimated time to secure Emergency Privileges is only 30 days.

Responsibilities

  • Read a high volume of exams, including CT, MRI, and general X-rays, based on your chosen rotation.
