Job description
An established, physician-led specialty practice is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Radiologist to join its growing team on Florida's Space Coast.
This opportunity provides primary clinical coverage for PET/CT and nuclear medicine, while allowing physicians to maintain variety through participation in a broader diagnostic imaging case mix.
For physicians who are Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology, there may also be an opportunity to perform basic interventional procedures based on training, experience, credentialing, and clinical interest.
The practice is designed to make nuclear medicine and PET/CT a true clinical priority while maintaining flexibility, physician autonomy, collaboration, and professional variety.

Job Responsibilities
The physician will primarily provide interpretation and clinical expertise in PET/CT and nuclear medicine, with opportunities for broader diagnostic participation.
Responsibilities may include:
Interpret PET/CT examinations
Interpret a broad range of nuclear medicine studies
Provide nuclear medicine consultation to referring physicians
Participate in broader diagnostic imaging coverage as appropriate, including:
CT
MRI
Ultrasound
Radiography
Fluoroscopy
Perform basic interventional procedures when appropriately trained, experienced, credentialed, and interested
Collaborate with diagnostic radiologists, referring physicians, technologists, hospital teams, and other clinical professionals
Maintain appropriate documentation and quality standards
Support patient safety and regulatory compliance
Participate in internal moonlighting or voluntary additional coverage when eligible and desired
Qualifications
MD or DO from an accredited medical school
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology with Nuclear Medicine fellowship training, and/or Board Certified in Nuclear Medicine through a Nuclear Medicine residency pathway
Eligible to obtain and maintain an unrestricted Florida medical license
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Preferred
Active Authorized User status on a valid Radioactive Materials License
Experience interpreting PET/CT
Broad nuclear medicine interpretation experience
Diagnostic Radiology Board Certification for physicians interested in basic interventional procedures
Current residents and fellows completing the required training pathway are encouraged to apply.
