Facility:
This hospital is a high-volume emergency department-driven imaging facility that serves as a critical healthcare provider in the Central Florida region. The facility operates with advanced imaging technology and maintains a focus on trauma, stroke, and emergency care services with comprehensive radiology support.
Opportunity:
Nuclear Medicine Radiologist - Radiology
Job Details:
• Provide ongoing onsite general radiology (30%) plus interventional radiology and nuclear medicine services
• Work Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST schedule
• Coverage for major and minor holidays as applicable
• Annual commitment of 17 weeks of coverage
• Handle high ED-driven imaging volume with heavy portable chest X-rays and MSK trauma radiographs
• Manage CT-dominant workflow with frequent CT abdomen/pelvis, CT head, and trauma spine imaging
• Perform regular stroke and vascular imaging including CT head stroke and CTA head/neck and chest
• Conduct routine OB/GYN and abdominal ultrasound studies including pelvic/TV and RUQ/renal studies
• Provide advanced imaging and light IR support including coronary CTA/calcium scoring and limited MRI
• Work with comprehensive imaging modalities: CR, CT, US, MR, NM, FLUORO, IR
• Handle high-volume imaging with X-ray (45%) and CT (40%) focused on trauma/stroke cases
• Specialized ultrasound work (10%) concentrating on OB/vascular studies
• Perform IR procedures (<2%) including paracentesis, central lines, biliary drainage, and biopsies
• Additional responsibilities include MRI, fluoroscopy, and nuclear medicine (<5%)
• Maintain productivity expectation of minimum 70 RVUs per shift
• Utilize RPCE Tech Stack, PowerScribe 4.0, RP Reading Platform, Mosaic/Clario systems
Compensation:
