Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Facility notes indicate 6-month contract with indefinite approval available)
Schedule:
Clinical Responsibilities | Procedures (if applicable): Required procedures include:
Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Facility notes indicate 6-month contract with indefinite approval available)
Schedule:
- Unrestricted 24-hour call coverage
- 7:00 AM - 7:00 AM
- Strictly call coverage
- Provider reports only when called in
- Follow-up rounding the following morning as necessary
- Coverage needs per month: TBD
- Acute Care Hospital
- Inpatient Hospital Setting
- Adult Trauma Level II/III/IV
Clinical Responsibilities | Procedures (if applicable): Required procedures include:
- Stroke thrombectomy
- Carotid stenting
- Diagnostic cerebral angiography
- Endovascular aneurysm repair
- Intracranial stenting
- Embolization of head and neck tumors
- Embolization for subdural hematoma
- Neurology consultations
- Post-procedure rounding as needed
- Patient population: Adults and Geriatrics
- Patients per day: Varies
- Works collaboratively with hospitalists and specialty disciplines
Qualifications
Board Certified Neurology
ACLS
Documentation of neurology services representative of requested privileges within the previous 24 months
At least 200 Endovascular Surgical Neuroradiology treatments within the previous 24 months reflective of requested privileges OR successful completion of an ACGME-accredited clinical fellowship within the previous 24 months
Epic proficiency
Working Hours
7:00 AM - 7:00 AM
Strictly call coverage
Provider reports only when called in
Follow-up rounding the following morning as necessary
Skills
Carotid stenting
Diagnostic cerebral angiography
