Locum - Radiology: Interventional - MD/DO

Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiologist

We are seeking a dedicated Interventional Radiologist to join our dynamic team in Robbinsdale, Minnesota. This locum position offers the chance to provide essential care in a leading Level 1 trauma center, renowned for its commitment to advanced medical practices. You will work in an inpatient hospital setting with a patient population primarily consisting of adults, ensuring impactful clinical experiences.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality interventional radiology services including general IR and cerebral embolectomy.
• Manage approximately 10 cases per day on weekdays and 6 cases per day on weekends.
• Participate in overnight pager call with a beeper call ratio of 1:2.
• Utilize Epic for EMR documentation and patient records.
• Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Anticipate occasional after-hours procedures requiring call coverage.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years of residency (REQUIRED).
• Completion of Fellowship training (REQUIRED).
• A minimum of two years of clinical practice experience (REQUIRED).
• Experience with EPIC systems (PREFERRED).
• Active Minnesota medical license (PREFERRED).

License and Certification Requirements:

• Board Certification in a relevant specialty.
• Active state license in Minnesota.
• ACLS certification.
