Job description

An interventional radiology group at a children's hospital in the Omaha, Nebraska area needs one IR physician to cover its lead physician's time off, about a week a month, ongoing. $3,312.25 a day, guaranteed, even on days with no cases. If you hold an IMLC letter of qualification, you can start the paperwork right away, and licensing in any IMLC state is something we can arrange. Your travel and lodging are covered.

Job Responsibilities

A light IR schedule: usually about 2 straightforward cases a day, taking a couple of hours, and on a busy day 4 to 5. The rest of the time you are on call, with a one-hour turnaround, and the call is very light. Serious or complex cases go to the other IR specialists or can wait. You do not need pediatric training, only comfort working with children, and adult-only IR experience is fine. You choose your own weeks and fly in, and the group will work with your schedule, including three weeks back to back.

Qualifications

Interventional radiology training and experience. An IMLC letter of qualification is the fastest route to start, though a license candidate can also be considered, since licensing can be arranged. Comfort working with pediatric patients.

Working Hours

About one week a month, ongoing, with the weeks of your choosing. Three weeks back to back is also fine. Paid daily at the guaranteed rate whether or not there are cases.
