Interventional Radiologist Job Details

Interventional Radiology Physician Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience practicing as an Interventional Radiologist
• Board certification or eligibility within 5 years in Interventional Radiology or Radiology
• Ability to perform interventional radiology procedures and interpret general diagnostic studies across multiple imaging modalities
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and medical documentation skills
• Ability to work independently during evening radiology coverage
• Current Florida medical licensure and all required credentials for practice in Florida

Interventional Radiologist Responsibilities

• Provide on-site evening coverage for interventional radiology and diagnostic imaging services
• Perform and interpret interventional radiology studies and procedures within the scope of practice
• Read general diagnostic imaging across mixed modalities, including CT, MR, ultrasound, radiography, nuclear medicine, and fluoroscopy
• Collaborate with referring providers and care teams to support timely diagnosis and treatment planning
• Complete accurate, timely radiology reports using PowerScribe
• Meet the expected productivity standard of 50 RVUs per 5-hour shift while maintaining high-quality patient care
• Respond appropriately to urgent and emergent imaging needs
