Job description
A rapidly growing outpatient medical practice is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiologist to join its expanding team in the New York Metro Area.
This is an excellent opportunity for a physician who enjoys advanced image-guided procedures while seeking a more predictable schedule, strong clinical support, and a reduced administrative burden compared to traditional hospital-based practice models.
The physician will practice in a dedicated outpatient environment focused on minimally invasive, innovative Interventional Radiology procedures with the opportunity to expand procedural capabilities and contribute to the continued growth of the practice.
The ideal candidate will have experience performing advanced outpatient IR procedures or be a strong proceduralist interested in developing additional expertise in a collaborative, growth-oriented setting.
Job Responsibilities
Evaluate and manage patients requiring minimally invasive interventions
Perform procedures including:
Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD) interventions
Venous disease treatments
Uterine Fibroid Embolization (UFE)
Prostate Artery Embolization (PAE)
Genicular Artery Embolization (GAE)
Hemorrhoidal Embolization procedures
Musculoskeletal embolization procedures
Neurostimulator implantation
Additional innovative image-guided therapies
Provide high-quality patient-centered care
Collaborate with clinical staff and leadership teams
Participate in continued development and expansion of outpatient IR services
Maintain clinical excellence, safety, and quality standards
Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Radiology
Experience performing image-guided Interventional Radiology procedures
Strong procedural skills and willingness to expand procedural expertise
Comfortable adopting new technologies and treatment approaches
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Commitment to patient care and clinical quality
Ability to work independently in an outpatient practice environment
