A Detroit-area teaching hospital system needs 2 interventional radiologists, ASAP start through 4/1/2027. Monday-Friday, 7:30am-3:30pm, no call. $480/hour. Assignment could be at Sinai-Grace or Harper Hospital.

Job Responsibilities

Perform vascular and non-vascular IR procedures: embolization (trauma, GI bleeds), angiograms, thrombolysis, and IVC filter placement/removal. Emergency IR procedures including trauma embolization (splenic, hepatic, pelvic), nephrostomies, cholecystostomies, and abscess drainages, often urgent. Reading diagnostic cases between procedures preferred. Resident/teaching supervision required. Inpatient and outpatient, admissions required. Chart in Cerner.

Qualifications

Board certified in Diagnostic Radiology/Nuclear Medicine, Vascular and Interventional Radiology required. ABR certification required. Active Michigan license required, cannot wait on licensure. BLS and DEA required. Credentialing runs approximately 90 days, temp privileges available.

Working Hours

Monday-Friday, 7:30am-3:30pm, no call.
