CHI Health Good Samaritan in Kearney, Nebraska is seeking a board-certified Interventional Radiologist for locum coverage beginning August 31 through December 2026. This is not optional coverage — the IR service is required to maintain the facility's Level II trauma designation. A provider resigned and the role needs to be filled while permanent recruitment is underway. $500/hr, Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm, no call. PA support handles barium work, lumbar punctures, paracentesis, and thoracentesis.

Job Responsibilities

Full broad-based IR practice including spine procedures (pain management injections, vertebroplasty, kyphoplasty), port and central line placements, solid organ biopsies and drainages, oncology interventions and image-guided therapies, breast biopsies. Dedicated technologist and nursing support on site. Epic EMR.

Qualifications

Board certified Interventional Radiologist — required, no exceptions. NE license or IMLC. Clean background and NPDB required. Credentialing ASAP — temp privileges required for early dates.

Working Hours

Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm. No call. Open weeks: August 31-September 4, September 14-18, October 19-30, November 2-December 25. $500/hr. Travel covered: air to Kearney or Grand Island airports, lodging at Candlewood Suites Kearney.
