We are seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Interventional Radiologist to provide ongoing locum coverage at a leading medical center in Florence, South Carolina. This opportunity is available until a permanent physician is hired and is ideal for candidates with fellowship training in Interventional Radiology who are experienced in a broad range of image-guided procedures.
Job Responsibilities
• Perform a variety of image-guided procedures, including:
o Arteriograms
o CT/Fluoroscopy-Guided Biopsies
o Tumor Ablations
o Embolization Procedures
o Kyphoplasty
o Gastrostomy Tube Placements
o PleurX Catheter Insertions
o Nephrostomy Tube Placements
o Port Placements
o Tunneled & Non-Tunneled Central Venous Catheters
o Dialysis Graft Declots
o Biliary Drainages
• Provide evening call coverage.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Complete accurate and timely procedural documentation.
Qualifications
• Fellowship Training in Interventional Radiology (Required).
• Board Eligible (within 5 years) or Board Certified in Radiology.
• Active South Carolina Medical License (Required).
• Experience performing a broad range of Interventional Radiology procedures.
• Strong procedural and clinical decision-making skills.
Working Hours
• On-Site Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Evening Call: Required
• Assignment: Ongoing until a permanent provider is hired.
