Radiology - Interventional Locum job in Kearney, NE

Hospital is requesting Locum coverage for Interventional Radiology, a service needed to maintain facility Level II trauma status. Resignation of a provider, needing coverage as we work to recruit an IR Physician.

8:00a - 5:00p Monday - Friday

We don’t have staff on call
Setting: Level II Trauma Center/175 bed hospital (including Physch. hospital)
Duties: Cover IR services
FTE: 1.0

Required Procedures:

• Broad-based IR practice including:
• Spine procedures (pain management injections, vertebral augmentation, etc.)
• Ports and central line placements
• Solid organ biopsies and drainages
• Oncology interventions and image-guided therapies
• Kyphoplasty
• Breast biopsies

EMR: EPIC

Support Staff: Collaborative team environment with dedicated technologist and nursing support. PA helps support barium work, lumbar punctures, paracentesis and thoracentesis.

Reason for Coverage: We are losing one of our providers who did IR/DX coverage for the hospital.

Credentialing Information:

• Timeframe: ASAP, depending on candidates
• Requirements: Board certification/M.D. or D.O.
• Credentialing with other facilities? No
