Aequor Healthcare is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Interventional Radiologist for an ongoing locum opportunity with UPMC Hamot and UPMC Northwest in Pennsylvania.
Position Highlights
- Flexible scheduling – up to 10 shifts per month
- Day shifts, specials coverage, and night call available
- Providers will be assigned to one facility per shift—never both locations on the same day

- 9/21–9/24 | 5:00 PM – 8:00 AM
October
- 10/19 | Specials: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- 10/19–10/20 | Night Call: 5:00 PM – 8:00 AM
- 10/22 | Specials: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
November
- 11/24 | Night Call
- 11/25 | Day Shift + Night Call
- 11/27 | Day Shift + Night Call
- No Thanksgiving coverage required on 11/26
General Schedule
- Monday–Friday Day Shift: 7:30/8:00 AM – 4:30/5:00 PM
- Weeknight Call: 5:00 PM – 8:00 AM
- Weekend Call: Friday 5:00 PM – Monday 8:00 AM
Requirements
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Interventional Radiology
- Active Pennsylvania license (or ability to obtain)
- Must be willing to provide coverage at UPMC Hamot and UPMC Northwest as scheduled

Job Responsibilities
Interpret pre- and post-procedure imaging to guide patient care.
Evaluate patients and determine appropriate image-guided treatment plans.
Perform inpatient and outpatient image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Provide overnight call coverage, including emergency and urgent IR consultations.
Respond to emergency procedures requiring interventional radiology expertise.
Collaborate with referring physicians, surgeons, emergency medicine providers, and hospitalists.
Review imaging, laboratory results, and patient histories before procedures.
Obtain informed consent and discuss procedural risks and benefits with patients and families.
Perform post-procedure evaluations and coordinate follow-up care.
Document procedures, interpretations, and consultations in the EMR.
Supervise and collaborate with radiologic technologists, nurses, and support staff.
Participate in multidisciplinary patient care to ensure high-quality outcomes.
Adhere to hospital policies, radiation safety standards, and quality assurance protocols.
Qualifications
Active Pennsylvania license (or ability to obtain)
Must be willing to provide coverage at UPMC Hamot and UPMC Northwest as scheduled

Weeknight Call: 5:00 PM – 8:00 AM
Weekend Call: Friday 5:00 PM – Monday 8:00 AM
