Physician - Radiology - Interventional

Job Details:

Provide locum interventional radiology coverage with general IR experience required and stroke capabilities preferred
8-hour day shift generally between 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM with evening call from 4:00 PM - 8:00 AM
24-hour call coverage required on weekends
Average of 10-15 procedures performed during the 8-hour on-site day shift
Call backs are generally only required for emergencies
No diagnostic reading required between IR cases
Required procedures include: diagnostic and therapeutic vascular interventions, angiography, angioplasty, stenting, thrombolytic therapy, embolization therapy, vascular access devices/PICCs, central lines, port-a-cath insertions, IVC filters, TIPS, percutaneous needle biopsies, abscess drainage, thoracentesis, paracentesis, pain management procedures, vertebroplasty, arthrograms, chest tube insertion, uterine artery embolization, liver Y90/TACE, gastrostomy tube insertion, nephrostomy/ureteral stent insertion, renal fistulograms, and cryoablation
Neuro (head) stroke thrombectomy capability is required
EMR system: Epic
Board Certification required
Active North Dakota license or IMLC (Letter of Qualification in hand at time of submission) required
IR residency or fellowship required
ACLS and BLS certifications required
Clean malpractice history highly preferred
