This medical center is a full-service hospital providing comprehensive healthcare services to the Phoenix metropolitan area. The facility features advanced imaging technology and maintains a robust interventional radiology program with strong physician support and modern equipment.
Opportunity:
Interventional Radiologist - Radiology
Job Details:
• Provide onsite interventional radiology services 7 days a week, 8am-5pm MST
• Handle both interventional procedures and general radiology reads
• Share call shifts in rotation with current IR practice
• Participate in rotating holiday coverage with existing IR team
• Manage estimated annual volume of 10,238 cases
• Perform comprehensive IR procedures including biopsy, drain placement, nephrostomy, gastrostomy, embolization, IVC filter placement
• Conduct fistulagram with declot, biliary and venous interventions
• General fluoroscopy procedures preferred as IR on-call covers fluoro on-call responsibilities
• Meet productivity expectation of minimum 61 RVUs per shift
• Utilize Powerscribe 1 dictation system
• Must have Interventional Radiology Fellowship training
• Requires ABR Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology certification
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
