The facility features a high-volume emergency department with advanced imaging capabilities and state-of-the-art technology to support complex trauma and stroke pathways.
Opportunity:
Interventional Radiologist - Radiology
Job Details:
• Provide onsite general radiology (30%) plus mammography and basic to moderate interventional radiology
• Work Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST schedule with major/minor holiday coverage
• Coverage need of 17 weeks annually
• Handle high ED-driven diagnostic mix with very heavy X-ray and CT volume
• Interpret frequent CT head/trauma spine and CTA chest plus CTA head/neck stroke imaging
• Perform steady ultrasound studies including DVT, RUQ/gallbladder, renal/pelvic imaging
• Read ED-driven imaging mix with heavy portable chest X-rays and extremity trauma films
• Interpret regular CTA chest (PE) and CTA head/neck for stroke pathways
• Conduct steady vascular and abdominal ultrasound studies (DVT, carotid, RUQ/gallbladder, renal, pelvic)
• Handle limited MRI neuro/spine and occasional basic IR procedures
• Work with comprehensive modalities: CR, CT, US, MR, NM, Fluoro, IR, Mammography
• Primary focus (85%): X-ray & CT focused on Trauma/Stroke/PE
• Mid-Volume (10%): Ultrasound (DVT/Vascular/OB)
• Procedural/IR (<2%): PICC/CVAD, Thoracentesis, Liver/Lung/Bone Biopsies
• Specialized (3%): Mammography (Screening/Biopsy), Nuclear Medicine (HIDA), and MRI
• Productivity expectation of 80 RVUs per shift minimum
• Utilize RPCE Tech Stack, PowerScribe 4.0, and Mosaic/Clario reading platforms
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
